SCAT Airlines offers flying from Astana to the capital of Thailand

The SCAT Airlines, Kazakhstan,
prepared a New-Year present for Astana International Airport passengers.

Since December 29, 2013, the SCAT Airlines launches its  direct flight from Astana International Airport to the capital of Thailand – Bangkok with
the frequency of two flights a week, on Wednesdays and Sundays, on a comfortable
airliner, Boeing-757.

Aviators-migrants from Uzbekistan receive Russian passports on expedited basis

Mikhail Babich, the President’s Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Region,Russia, handed Russian
passports to the employees arrived from Uzbekistanand working with the Aviastar-SP Company, Russia.

According to the Press Service of this Company, eight experts of  Aviastar-SP CJSC who arrived from Uzbekistan received the citizenship of Russia in an
expeditious manner and in the context of the Compatriots Voluntary Resettlement
State Programme.

These employees previously worked with the Chkalov Tashkent Aircraft
Production Association (CTAPA), where they have proven to be competent,
experienced and responsible professionals.

Currently, the aircraft manufacturers are directly involved in producing
a modern transport aircraft, IL-76MD-90A, the Company noted.

In the first quarter of 2014, there are plans to employ about 40 foreign
experts to this Company in the framework of the Compatriots Voluntary Resettlement
State Programme.

British Airways is giving its travellers from Azerbaijan opportunity to explore Europe

Tajik Air announces price reduction action

When purchasing an air  ticket for
the flights operated during the period from December 25, 2013, to January 31,
2014, air travelers can save up to EUR 50.

Turkmen aviators to launch Ashgabat – Paris flight

In the nearest future, the Turkmenistan Airlines State National Service
will launch a new airline, Ashgabat, TurkmenistanParis, France– Ashgabat. They also get prepared to fly to Milan,Italy, and are planning to link Novosibirsk and other cities in Russia with the countries of East
Asia
. One creates necessary conditions to organize international
airlines from Ashgabat to Munich, Rome, as well as to Jeddah,
Saudi Arabia
.

According to the State News Agency of Turkmenistan (TDH), the National
Programme for the Development of Civil Aviation in Turkmenistan provides for launching
new air flights at economically useful destinations in three phases. During the
period up to 2015, these will be the flights from Turkmenbashi, Turkmenistan,
to Istanbul (Turkey), Moscow (Russian Federation) and Aktau (Kazakhstan ); from
Ashgabat – to Urumqi (China), Novosibirsk (Russia), Antalya (Turkey), Kuala
Lumpur (Malaysia), Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), and Riga (Latvia).

“Turkmen aviators associate the development of international passenger
traffic with many countries and continents primarily with the operation of the
Boeing-777-200 LR (“three sevens”). According to the agreement with the Boeing Aircraft
Construction Corporation, the first such aircraft of this family of long-range
wide-body passenger aircraft will arrive in Turkmenistan Airlines in the first
half of 2014. This will be a new step in the air travel development. These
airliners will allow our travelers to fly to America and other continents. This
year alone, the country’s flag air carrier has already received and effectively
operates two comfortable new generation aircraft, Boeing-737- 800, as well as
two new helicopters, AgustaWestland-101. A few days ago, the Turkmenistan Airlines’
air fleet was filled up with another modern aircraft, Boeing-737-800. During
the period of implementation of the “National Programme for the Development of
Civil Aviation of Turkmenistan for 2012-2030”, the number of such aircraft will achieve
39. It should be noted these are new aircraft. The aircraft that have exhausted
their life resources, will be derived from the structure of the air fleet and
replaced by newly acquired ones”, the Turkmen media note.

Currently, the aircraft belonged to Turkmenistan Airlines, in addition
to their domestic airlines, also operate regular flights to dozens of cities in
the world including Moscow, London, Frankfurt, Birmingham, Bangkok, New Delhi,
Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Amritsar, Minsk, Almaty, Istanbul and Kiev. In 2013, the
Airline launched its direct flights to St. PetersburgDonetsk and Lvov.

Lufthansa assists in training staff of Dushanbe International Airport to prepare aircraft to fly in winter

Alexander Cherepanov, representative of Lufthansa, the largest airline in
Europe, conducted a training session at Borispol International Airport,Kiev, Ukraine,
where he trained ground services’  staff working
with the Dushanbe International Airport.
The training includes both practical and theoretical studies on preparing
aircraft to be operated in winter conditions, the Press Service of the Dushanbe International Airportreported.

“As a result of participation in the course, 30 ground services’ employees
working with the Dushanbe International Airport received appropriate certificates”,
the statement said.

The Airport’s Press Office notes that the foreign expert highly praised
the knowledge and experience of the Airport’s ground services in Dushanbe in preparing aircraft
to fly in cold weather conditions.
