Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan ready to provide helicopter to extinguish forest fire in the mountains of Kyrgyzstan

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan is ready to provide
assistance to their Kyrgyz colleagues and provide with a special helicopter to
extinguish a forest fire in the mountains of Naryn region of Kyrgyzstan, Urmatbek
Shamyrkanov, Deputy Chief of the Operations Department of Emergency, Kyrgyz
Republic, said at a press conference today, on August 14, 2014, the Regnum News
Agency, Russia, reported.

According to him, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan has
the same helicopter, designed to extinguish fires, but it is not in working
condition now. “The situation with the fire-fighting is complicated by the fact
that its center is located at an altitude of 2,400 meters above the
sea level,” Mr. Shamyrkanov said.

Saratov Airlines begins flying from Moscow, Russia, to Azerbaijan

On August 7-12, 2014, Saratov Airlines, Russia,
has launched several new international flights from Moscow’sDomodedovo International Airport.
The air carrier’s air routes are stretched to Azerbaijan.

The flights to all destinations are operated on a new aircraft, Embraer-195.
The flight schedule is as follows (all times are local):

The flight number 6B-21/22 en route MoscowLenkoran, Azerbaijan, is operated on
Saturdays. Departure from Moscowis at 09:55, arrival in Lenkoran is at 14:30. Departure of the return flight
from Lenkoran is at 15:40, arrival in Moscowis at 17:10.

The flight number 6B-33/34 en route MoscowGabala, Azerbaijan, is operated on Mondays.
Departure from Moscowis at 09:35, arrival in Gabala is at 13:25. Departure of the return flight from
Gabala is at 15:15, arrival in Moscowis at 17:00.

State Antitrust Regulation Agency excludes Air Manas (Pegasus Asia) from state register of natural and permitted monopolies in Kyrgyzstan

The Air Manas Airline LLC (Pegasus Asia) has been excluded from the state
registry of natural and permitted monopolies of the Kyrgyz Republic,
the Press Service of the State Antitrust Regulation Agency announced on August
13, 2014.

The decision was taken in order to enhance a competitive environment in
the civil aviation sector, encouraging air companies to increase the number of
flights on the Bishkek – Osh– Bishkek air route at affordable prices.

According to the report, the current domestic air carriage market is dynamic
enough, and the result of the additional monitoring in June 2014 showed that
the proportion of air companies in the market have been virtually leveled and
distributed along the Bishkek – Osh – Bishkek air route, as follows:

  • Kyrgyzstan Airline OJSC – 27.1%;
  • Air Traffic Company LLC – 24.4%;
  • Air Manas Airline LLC (Limited Liability
    Company) –  26.4%.

Due to the reduction of flights operated by  Air Manas Airline LLC, its share has been
significantly declined from 44% to 26.4%, that is, at the moment, the Air Company
has no monopoly position, the Agency reported.

According to the Ministry of Justice, Alptekin Ilgar heads the Air Manas
Airline LLC. The Air Company’s basic activities include air carriages of
passengers. Two individuals, namely Sayrabubu Momunova and Uran Niyazaliev, and one legal entity, PEGASUS HAVA TASIMACILIGI ANONIM SIRKETI,
are the founders of this Air Company.

Azerbaijani pilgrims leave for Hajj pilgrimage by VIP planes

This year Azerbaijani pilgrims leaving for Hajj pilgrimage will fly to Saudi Arabiaby special VIP planes.

The Caucasus Muslims Board told APA that the ASAS (Advance Special
Aviation Service) which carries out the flights has allocated business class
rooms for pilgrims.

Only the pilgrims to be divided into groups according to the schedule
specified will fly by planes.

This year 3200 pilgrims from Azerbaijan will leave for Hajj
pilgrimage. Hajj pilgrimage from Azerbaijan will start on September
23. One flight will be operated on the first day. Following this, two or three
flights will be operated every day. The flights from Azerbaijan will last till September
28.

Azerbaijanis will return from Hajj pilgrimage 5 days after Eid al-Adha –
approximately on October 10. Eid al-Adha will be marked in Azerbaijan on
October 4-5. The prices of Hajj pilgrimage is AZN 3250 for the hotel with weak
conditions, where meals are served twice a day, AZN 4100 for the hotel with
better conditions, where various kinds of meals are served. Hajj pilgrimage
will be available only by plane. This year the pilgrims can not travel to Hajj
by buses due to the unrests in Syria.

Baku – Istanbul flight delayed for three hours

The BakuIstanbul(Ataturk Airport) flight was delayed for three
hours.

AZAL reported to APA-Economics the Turkish Airlines’ plane flew not at
20:20 but at about 23:30. “A technical problem caused this delay. The passengers
were sent by another aircraft”.

At the Ataturk Airport, the plane landed at 06:10, Baku time.

Yanair reduces prices for Kiev – Tbilisi flight

Within a campaign on August 13 – 15, 2014, one is able to buy “cheap” tickets
for the flights scheduled in the period from August 19th to October
25, 2014.

It is noteworthy that the Airline will operate its first flight from Kiev, Ukraine,
to Tbilisi, Georgia, on August 19, 2014.

Boeing-737 and Airbus A-320 will fly on the TbilisiKiev air
route.

Yanair will temporarily operate its flights from the Kiev’sJulyany Airport.

The flights will be operated on Tuesdays and Sundays, and, from
September 2014, one will add the third frequency on Thursdays.
