Kazakh tourists stranded in Georgia gradually return to Kazakhstan

Yesterday, a Bek Air’s plane carrying a part of Kazakh tourists stranded
in Georgia and Sochi landed in Atyrau,
Kazakhstan
. It
is expected that the next flight with the Kazakhs will arrive in Atyrau on August
31, 2016.

“50 tourists who were forced to wait for the flight in Batumi, Georgia,
returned to Atyrau. There is the same number of tourists from Karaganda. After refueling, the plane flew toKaraganda.
Tomorrow we expect that another 25 Atyrau tourists and tourists from Aktobe will
arrive in the late afternoon from Georgia. There are no our tourists
in Sochi, Russia”, the Kazunion Tour Company told.

Recall, since August 26, 2016, 140 Kazakh tourists have been unable to
fly from Batumi.
The situation with the cancellation of flights to Kazakhstanwas caused by failure to comply with airworthiness directives of the Developer
aircraft for the SKYBUS Airlines, Kazakhstan. According to the Civil
Aviation Committee under the Ministry for Investment and Development, Kazakhstan, a
meeting was held with the first head of the SKYBUS JSC on August 4, 2016,
during which a decision was approved to stop servicing tourist companies by
August 15, 2016.

Boeing to refuse raising prices for aircraft this year for the first time since 2009

The Boeing Company refuses to raise prices this year, wrote Doug Alder, Spokesperson,
Boeing, in his E-mail to Reuters. This will happen for the first time since
2009, according to RNS.

The Company’s decision was made based upon a significant reduction in
the volume of orders. Since 2016 and up to August 23, 2016, the Boeing Company received
orders for 335 aircraft, while there were 418 orders in January – July 2015.

In any case, according to Reuters, airlines usually receive significant
discounts compared to the prices listed in the price list, so the latter are
largely symbolic.

Issyk-Kul International Airport to take Osh – Tamchy – Osh flights before the end of World Nomads Games

The flights
will be operated twice a week, on Fridays and Sundays, until September 8, 2016.

These
flights will be operated by Tez Jet Airlines, Kyrgyzstan.

Saturday:
Arrival: 10:25 am, Departure: 11:30 am.

Sunday:
Arrival: 05:40 pm, Departure: 06:40 pm. Time is local.

Turkmenistan signs air service treaty with Luxembourg

A new
air service treaty signed with the Government of Luxembourg will promote intensive
integration of Turkmenistanin the modern global economic system, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper wrote
on Tuesday.

The President
of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who is on his working visit to
Germany (August 29-30) met with Maxim Strauss, Executive Vice President, Cargolux,
Luxembourg, which is one of Europe’s largest freight air carriers.

The
parties discussed the possibility of further expansion of cooperation on a
mutually beneficial and long-term base.

“Turkmenistan
attaches great importance to the improvement of the transport sector, and above
all, the modernization of infrastructure and modernization of the civil aviation
sector, which plays an important role in air passenger and freight traffic, as
regards both domestic and international air routes”, the President of
Turkmenistan said.

At the
meeting it was noted that due to its favourable geographical position, Turkmenistanhas a significant transit potential and can be shorted to a considerable part
of the Euro-Asian international freight traffic, and the company is ready to
double the number of flights operated per week.

As a part
of the National Civil Aviation Programme of Turkmenistan for 2012-2030, the
construction of new and reconstruction of existing airports, terminals and facilities
for engineering purposes is conducted in Ashgabat and in the regions of the
country.

Since last
year, Cargolux has been regularly delivering loads of different purposes from Luxembourg to Taipeiand from Hong Kong to Vienna and Budapest through the airport in Turkmenbashi, Turkmenistan.

This
summer, the company has increased the number of transit cargo flights operated to
airports in Turkmenistan.

In
total, since the first of July, the air carrier has been operating 11 flights weekly
through the airports of Turkmenistan,
and in 2017, there are plans to daily ship cargo through Turkmenbashi and
Ashgabat.

Turkmenistan is in talks with Airbus Group

The President
of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who is on his working visit to Germany,
met with Marwan Lauda, Vice President on Foreign Relations, Airbus Group,
​​the “Altyn Asyr” national TV channel
said on Tuesday.

The
parties discussed the possibility of establishing closer cooperation with the
priorities of the state development of Turkmenistan.

A
company representative said that the desire of foreign companies to expand
their presence in the dynamically developing Turkmen market seems to be very
promising in view of the existing profound resource and economic potential, and
a favorable investment climate for foreign businesses created here.

Turkmenistan is
always open for a constructive dialogue with leading companies that can offer
the best innovations in various fields”, the President of Turkmenistan said.

The Airbus
Group is the largest European concern, which includes a number of companies
specializing in the field of aviation, space exploration, defense and related
industries.

Since establishing
independence, Turkmenistan has
established long-term cooperation with the Boeing Company, U.S.

The
Turkmenistan Airlines’ air fleet has been added with the proven models of this company
in recent years.

Turkmenistan
Airlines operates its regular flights to dozens of countries and the air route
network is permanently expanding.

Currently,
a new international airport in Ashgabat,
Turkmenistan
,
is being rapidly built, as it is designed to become a major transit hub for continental
and intercontinental air routes.

First spotting held at Baku’s Heydar Aliyev International Airport

The
first official spotting organized by CJSC Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) was held
at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport. The event was
attended by about 30 professional photographers and aviation photography
amateurs.

Spotters
got a unique opportunity to capture takeoffs and landings of Boeing-767,
Boeing-757, Airbus A340, A320, as well as Boeing 747F and IL-76 freighters. Also,
the participants were able to watch live aircraft ground handling process and
work of airfield equipment.

In
addition, within the organized tour spotters were able to sit in the cockpit of
Airbus A340-500 and capture aircrafts of business aviation jets.

Silk Way Airlines expands fleet with another Boeing 747-8F freighter

Azerbaijan’s national air cargo carrier Silk
Way Airlines received another new Boeing 747-8F aircraft.

This
is the 8th Boeing and 4th Boeing 747-8Faircraft, which will be operated by the airline. Delivery of the new aircraft
will enable the airline to increase its route network even broader, including
new destinations to the US.

It is
planned to open new flights to Chicago and Dhaka
along with the existing direct regular flights from the capital of Azerbaijan to Milan,Luxembourg, Frankfurt, Istanbul, Dubai, Seoul, Hong Kong and Shanghai.

Over
the past 10 years, Heydar Aliyev International Airport has become a
major air cargo transportation hub. Today, Azerbaijan‘s civil aviation has
announced itself as the official air carrier of the Great Silk Road project
connecting East and West.

Purchasing
of new wide-body long-haul Boeing 747-8F aircrafts, well-established in the freight
market, is an important part of the implementation of this strategy.

Astana International Airport urgently takes Air France plane with sick passenger on board

A plane
with a sick passenger on board has made an emergency landing at Astana International Airport, Kazakhstan,
as it was flying en route from Hong Kong to Paris.

The
chronology of events was provided by the Press Service of the Ministry for
Investment and Development of Kazakhstan.

At
03:39 am Astana time, the crew of the Air France flight AFR185 previously
informed the air traffic controller of the Kazakh Air Navigation Republican State Centerabout possible emergency landing at the alternate Astana airport because of the
ill traveler on board.

At 03:51
am, the crew has made decision to fly to the alternate Astana airport and requested
medical care after landing. The flight control officers of the airport informed
relevant services of the airfield. After the request, the crew of this aircraft
was allowed to land at the airport of Astana.

At
04:40 am, the plane landed. According to the airport’s services, the ill passenger
was evacuated from the aircraft and sent to one of the capital city’s hospitals
by ambulance.

After
servicing and refueling, the aircraft started its engines and departed for Paris at 07:33 am.

We note
herein, on August 25, 2016, two more aircraft made emergency landings in the territory of Kazakhstan. Thus, the airport in Aktobe took
an Air India aircraft flying from Indiato the U.S.This emergency landing happened because of operational reasons. A Boeing 777 belonged
to Turkish Airlines, was carrying out its flight en route BeijingIstanbul and made an emergency landing at the airport of Astana because of the passenger’s poor
state of health.

Civil Aviation Agency: additional Osh – Tamchy – Osh flights to be operated

The
Osh City Mayor’s Office asked the Civil Aviation Agency (CAA) to organize
additional domestic flights en route Osh – Tamchy
Osh, the CAA reported.

According
to available data, in order to create conditions and ensure delivery of passengers
from southern regions of the country, as they are going to participate in the World
Nomads Games – 2016, an agreement was reached with one of the Kyrgyz air
companies to operate additional flights en route Osh – Tamchy – Osh. These flights
will be carried out on September 2nd, 4th and 9th,
2016.

Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan plan to launch direct flights Ashgabat – Bishkek – Seoul, Ashgabat – Bishkek – Tokyo

Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstanare planning to launch a direct flight en route Ashgabat,TurkmenistanBishkek, KyrgyzstanSeoul, South
Korea
, and Ashgabat – Bishkek – Tokyo,Japan, said Kerim Gayirov, Manager,Foreign Economic Relations Department,
Turkmenistan
Airlines (Turkmenhowayollary), according to Tazabek.

According
to him, there are plans to launch transit flights through Bishkek to Japan and South
Korea, as it would be more economically and commercially successful.

“The
Kyrgyz authorities have indicated there are passengers willing to fly both to Tokyo and Seoul.
Negotiations in the civil aviation sector are scheduled with Kyrgyzstan to be conducted on September 18, 2016,
as Turkmenistanis going to complete construction of a new airport in Ashgabat in September. We
have our intention and prescribe the 5th  degree of air freedom document to fly directly
to Seoul, Tokyoand Kuala Lumpur”,
he said.
