Zhukovsky Airport meets the first flight of Somon Air

On September 20, 2018 Somon Air, Tajikistan completed its first flight en route Dushanbe, Tajikistan – Zhukovsky, Russia – Dushanbe. At 09:45 pm local time, Boeing 737-900 with 170 passengers on board made a soft landing on the longest runway in Europe, which is in Zhukovsky. An hour later the airliner flew back to the capital city of the Republic of Tajikistan. Flights to Dushanbe will be carried out three times a week: on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
