Ural Airlines to launch its third flight from Zhukovsky to Tajikistan

In March 2018, Ural Airlines, Russia, is going to begin operating its flights from Zhukovsky International Airport, Russia, to Kulyab, Tajikistan, according to the Air Company’s website.

The first flight is scheduled for March 7th, the air carrier’s website says. Air tickets can be purchased online on the named website, the price for one way air ticket is RUR 14,243.

Kulyab will become the third Tajik destination for Ural Airlines from the airport in Zhukovsky. Currently, the air carrier also operates its regular scheduled flights from this airport located near Moscow to Dushanbe and Khujand.

Recall that the airport in Zhukovsky caused a conflict in late 2016 between the aviation authorities of Tajikistan and Russia. Some disagreements arose then between the Ministries of Transport of Russia and Tajikistan.

Since April 3, 2017, the Ministry of Transport of Russia “had cut” the number of flights for Tajikistan’s Somon Air to Russia, namely 10 flights to Moscow, including four flights from Dushanbe. In turn, Tajikistan announced a response for Russia’s Ural Airlines and UTair.
