FM: EU – Azerbaijan aviation agreement to help boost relations in tourism

The EU-Azerbaijan aviation agreement will help to boost relations in the tourism sphere, said Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov at a joint press conference with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini in Brussels Feb. 9.

Nearly 3 million passengers transported by Kyrgyz and foreign airlines in 2017

Kyrgyz and foreign airlines transported 2,950,585 passengers for 2017, which is by 14.5% more, as compared to the same period last year. This is stated in the report of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Transport and Roads, as a result of the work in 2017.

Flights from Samara to Baku and Norilsk are opened

NordStar Airlines, Russia, is expanding the air route network from the Kurumoch International Airport in Samara, Russia. Since March 26, 2018, two new destinations – to Russia’s Norilsk and Azerbaijan’s Baku – will be available for Samara airport passengers. Transportation of passengers on the Norilsk – Samara – Baku regular flights is scheduled for Boeing-737-800 on Mondays.

Airbus delivered 27 commercial aircraft to customers in January 2018

Airbus, the European aircraft company, began operating in 2018 with the receipt of an order in January for 20 narrow-bodied aircraft of the A320 family.
