Urgench – St. Petersburg flight delayed for three hours because of emergency landing in Samara

Uzbekistan Airways, which carried out the Urgench, Uzbekistan – St. Petersburg, Russia, flight on Monday, made an emergency landing in Russia’s Samara due to the ill-health of one of the passengers, according to the Air Company’s website.

The A320 liner landed at the Kurumoch Airport in Samara at 10:34 am local time.

“The first medical aid was provided to the passenger, according to the doctors’ decision, a decision was made on his further hospitalization,” the report said.

At 01:48 pm local time, the plane with 143 passengers on board flew to the destination.
