Finnair to resume Astana – Helsinki flights in July

Finnair Airline plans to resume its flights en route Astana, Kazakhstan – Helsinki, Finland, the Civil Aviation Committee of the Investments and Development Ministry of Kazakhstan said.

At the meeting, the sides exchanged their information on the current tasks and priorities of the transport policies of the two countries.

Also, the working group discussed prospects for cooperation in the civil aviation sector. The Finnish side expressed its interest in carrying out direct flights en route Astana – Helsinki on an ongoing basis.

Along with this, within the framework of the meeting, the text of the new Agreement on Air Communication “with horizontal elements” has been worked out, which is scheduled to be signed in May 2018.

“In general, bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and Finland in the transport industry show positive development dynamics,” the message says.
