Eurasia Airshow opens at Antalya International Airport, Turkey

Today, April 25, 2018 the Eurasia Airshow, which is positioned by the Turkish authorities as the first international airshow in the country, starts its work at the airport in Antalya, Turkey.

The event will last five days, the first three days are business days, during which representatives and delegations of the world’s largest aviation companies, as well as representatives of the media, will take part. On April 28 – 29, 2018 the Airshow will be fully open to all visitors.

Special intervals will be formed in the airport’s flight schedule, as regards arrival and departure of aircraft in order to operate demonstration flights for the Airshow. Every day during the entire Airshow, the arrival and departure of civil aircraft will be suspended for 3.5 hours.

Within five days of the Eurasia Airshow, indicative flights of civilian sides are planned, as well as performances of aerobatic teams are scheduled including the one to be implemented by the Turkish Stars Air Force Group. To implement these plans, the resort of Antalya suspends departure and arrival of civil aircraft for 3.5 hours every day on April 25-29, 2018.

Recall that, along with Eurasia Airshow, Turkey organizes Istanbul Airshow, the civil aviation industry and airport activities exhibition conducting once in two years. This year, it will be held at the airport in Istanbul on September 27 – 30, 2018 and it will be the 12th in a row.
