Passenger traffic in Georgian airports grew by 34%

During the first four months of this year, Georgia’s airports served 1,208,430 passengers including scheduled and charter flights, which is by 34% more, as compared to the same period last year.

According to the Georgian Airports Association under the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, an increase in passenger traffic was recorded in all three international airports of the country.

The airport in Tbilisi served 1,020,104 passengers, Kutaisi airport – 118,433, Batumi – 68,261. The growth of passenger traffic at Batumi airport amounted 59%.

As for domestic flights, 1,632 passengers used domestic air routes to fly to/from Mestia and Ambrolauri.
