Tajik Government asks Parliament to make adjustments to state budget for needs of Tajik Air Navigation State Unitary Enterprise

The Lower House of the Tajik Parliament received an offer from the Government to exempt the Tajik Air Navigation State Unitary Enterprise from VAT and customs duties for imports of equipment.

The Lower House of the Parliament of Tajikistan, at the suggestion of the Government, intends to introduce next changes in the parameters of the country’s state budget for 2018, a source in the Parliament’s Lower House told Asia Plus News Agency, Tajikistan.

This time, the Government asks Parliament members to exempt the Tajik Air Navigation State Unitary Enterprise (SUE) from the value-added tax and customs duties for imports of modern radio electronic equipment.

The list of equipment to be imported within a year will be approved by the Government of Tajikistan. Technology will be purchased at the expense of the SUE itself.

There is no any information available how much money will not be paid to the state budget because of the exemption for the Tajik Air Navigation State Unitary Enterprise to pay VAT and customs duties.

We remind herein that in October 2017, the Lower House of the Tajik Parliament, as it was proposed by the Tajik Government, has already exempted imports of equipment for the needs of Tajik Air Navigation SUE from paying VAT and customs duties.
