The world’s worst airports named

Experts working with the AirHelp service, which helps passengers to receive compensation in the event of a delay in flight, compiled a rating of airports for the quality of service, timeliness of departures and estimates of passengers, according to RIA Novosti, Russia.

The last place out of 141 estimated airports was given to Kuwait Airport, which scored just 5.4 points. The top three worst airports include London’s Stansted and Lyon’s Saint-Exuperyt – 5.53 and 5.78 points, respectively.

The Hamad airport in the capital city of Qatar, Doha, ranked the first one in the ranking, gaining a total of 8.77 points, the second place with 8.69 points was taken by Athens International Airport named after Eleftherios Venizelos, and the airport terminal in Tokyo, which received 8.63 points, was in third place.

For example, compilers of the rating put the Moscow’s Sheremetyevo to the 15th line. Moscow’s Domodedovo is on the 130th place.
