Dubai HeliShow 2018 gains its momentum

On November 6 – 8, 2018, the Dubai’s largest airport will conduct the Helicopter Show Dubai HeliShow 2018, which traditionally takes place at the Al Maktoum Airport’s Royal Pavilion in Dubai.

According to the HeliShow 2018 Organizing Committee, Dubai Helishow presents an opportunity for the international community to demonstrate their products, services and technologies in the commercial, civil and military helicopter sector and this is a business platform for interacting with potential customers from the Middle East. The HeliShow 2018 is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Prime Minister and Vice-President of the United Arab Emirates, the ruler of the Emirate of Dubai.

The value of Dubai Helishow is growing from exhibition to exhibition, which indicates the rapid growth and great prospects for the helicopter industry. The location of Dubai in the center of the Arab world allows it to act as a platform where it is possible to unite the interests of the Middle East, Europe, Africa, Russia, India and Asia. There are huge opportunities for investing in the development of the helicopter industry. Investments in specific production projects will help to unite the efforts and achievements of world leaders in using the highest technologies when creating joint ventures, the Dubai Helishow2018 Organizing Committee says. Interest in such projects is evident today and will grow in the near future. This can be illustrated by the project to create Dubai World Central International Airport, which is aimed at the development of general aviation.

Entire lines of business are being opened, such as air taxi. Air taxi is a fairly new business for charter airlines in the Emirates, which used to serve mainly the oil and gas industry.

“The resonance of the HeliShow 2018 is great, interest in it is growing every year. Preparations for it have already started today, and the organizers suggest that it will unite civil, military, medical topics, great attention will be paid to avionics. We hope that the HeliShow 2018 has a great future,” the Organizing Committee concluded.

Currently, 60 companies from 30 countries have already confirmed their participation.
