The plane that was flying from Moscow, Russia, to Khujand, Tajikistan, on Monday made a few circles over the Moscow region and landed at Moscow’s Domodedovo International Airport, according to the data provided by specialized portal.

Earlier, a source in the emergency services told TASS that the decision on an emergency landing was made after technical problems arose on board the aircraft.

“The commander of the aircraft made its decision about emergency landing after taking off from the Domodedovo International Airport,” the source said.

According to an on-line flight schedule board on the Domodedovo website, the Tajik Air’s Boeing 737-300 flew out at 01:03 am Moscow time. According to the portal, the plane turned around in the Ryazan region and flew back to Moscow. It began circling over the southeast of the Moscow region, gradually shifting in the north.

The aircraft was marked in red on the map, as this meant there was an emergency onboard the aircraft.

Tajik Air does not have a comment yet.

A little later it became known there was a depressurization in Tajik Air’s plane, as it was flying from Moscow to Khujand. The plane spent all its jet fuel in the air and landed at Moscow’s Domodedovo.
