The issues what really caused depressurization and about departure of passengers to be resolved tonight – Tajik Air

Engineers flew from Dushanbe to inspect the plane, which had emergency landing at Moscow’s Domodedovo, Asia-Plus notes.

“Due to the depressurization of the Tajik Air’s Boeing 737-300 airliner, which was flying en route Moscow, Russia – Khujand, Tajikistan, it was decided to return to the Domodedovo International Airport. All passengers were accommodated in the hotel and they have been provided with three meals a day. All current issues regarding passengers were solved promptly,” said Aziz Khairulloyev, the air company’s press secretary.

According to him, the engineers who flew to Moscow to inspect the aircraft will provide all the full information in the very near future.

“After passing an appropriate technical inspection, in the very near future, the Moscow – Khujand flight will be operated,” he said.

Mr. Khayrulloev also said that the issue of the return flight will be known tonight.

“If the plane 737-300 is repaired by that time, passengers will fly by this Boeing. If not, they will fly by another plane. This issue is now being resolved,” he said.

Recall, Boeing 737-300 was flying from Moscow to Khujand and immediately returned to Domodedovo because of depressurization in the cockpit. There were 141 passengers onboard.
