Tajik Air: an empty Moscow – Khujand flight plane lands in Dushanbe, as its passengers to fly on another plane

This morning, the Tajik Air’s Boeing 737-300, on board of which the depressurization occurred yesterday, landed at the Dushanbe International Airport, Tajikistan.

“At present, the plane is inspected by technical service experts. As a result of detailed technical inspection of this aircraft, we will inform you about the further operation of the aircraft,” Aziz Khairulloyev, Spokesperson, Tajik Air, told the Asia Plus News Agency, Tajikistan.

According to him, the passengers of this plane, which was to fly to Khujand on the eve, are still in the hotel and will fly from Moscow by another plane tonight.

“Transportation of passengers is scheduled by flight No. 646 on the Boeing 767-300 airliner. The flight will take place at 11:05 pm Moscow time. The plane will arrive in Khujand at 05:20 am local time,” Mr. Khairulloyev said.

Recall, due to the depressurization in the cabin/cockpit of the Tajik Air’s Boeing 737-300, which was flying en route Moscow, Russia – Khujand, Tajikistan, it was decided to return to the Moscow’s Domodedovo International Airport. All the passengers were accommodated in the hotel and provided with three meals a day.

Yesterday, Mr. Khairulloev said that if the 737-300 aircraft is repaired, passengers would fly by this Boeing. If not, they will fly by another plane.

There were 142 passengers and seven crew members onboard.
