Baku, Bucharest can establish direct flights by the end of 2018

The Romanian state-owned airline TAROM plans to launch a direct flight from Bucharest, Romania, to Baku, Azerbaijan, according to the Romanian media.

Romania’s state-owned airline, Tarom, will launch flights this year from Bucharest to Odessa, Baku, Tbilisi and Yerevan, according to www.routesonline.com. In the coming months, the air company will invest in the renewal and expansion of its air fleet.

Earlier it was noted that the flights are scheduled to be carried out by A318 plane.

TAROM or Romanian Air Transport is the national air carrier, the largest and oldest airline in Romania. The main airport of this airline is Henri Coanda International Airport in Otopeni, 16 kilometers north of Bucharest.

Tarom said this month that it added two new airplanes to its fleet, taking the total number of planes in operation to 25.
