Criminal case instituted against rowdy passenger of Ural Airlines’ Moscow – Dushanbe flight

The Investigative Committee, the Russian Federation, will seek the arrest of a 25-year-old Tajik citizen who arranged a rowdy aboard the plane flying en route Moscow, Russia – Dushanbe, Tajikistan flight, TASS News Agency, Russia, reports referring to the Investigative Committee.

“He refused to be tested for alcohol and drugs. Tomorrow the investigation will go to court with a motion to arrest this rowdy passenger,” the report reads.

On August 29, 2018 one of the passengers attacked the stewardess and threatened an allegedly bomb on board the Ural Airlines’ liner. The commander of the crew decided to return to Moscow.

The rowdy man was handed over to law enforcement officers. On this fact, a criminal case under the Part 1 of Art. 213 of the Criminal Code has been instituted (“Hooliganism Committed on Air Transport”).

In the meantime, a video of the incident that allegedly occurred aboard the Ural Airlines plane flying en route Moscow – Dushanbe appeared on the network.

On the video, one of the passengers exclaims that the plane has ‘Shaitan’ (hell) and the plane will be exploded. Other passengers try to calm the young man, but he continues to ruffle.
