Indonesia’s rescuers do not intend to curtail the search for a speech recorder of the Lion Air’s aircraft crashed in the Java Sea. “The second part of the flight recorder (black box) is extremely important for establishing a complete picture of what happened,” said Soirdjanto Tajahono, head of the Transport Safety and Security Committee, TASS reports.

The French to create hybrid aircraft with distributed propulsion system

The French startup VoltAero started developing a hybrid aircraft with a distributed propulsion system. The propulsion system, which consisted of electric motors with pulling propellers, will be responsible for creating the driving force during takeoff and landing, while cruising flight will be provided by an internal combustion engine, which rotates the pushing propeller.

About 40 flights to be operated from Istanbul to Baku every week

One flight will be operated daily from Istanbul’s new airport to Baku, Azerbaijan, Harun Baštürk, Sales Director, Turkish Airlines, said on Thursday.
