Air Astana passenger dies during flight

On Sunday, February 3, 2019, a passenger died on the flight of Air Astana, Kazakhstan, as the plane was flying from New Delhi, India, to Almaty, Kazakhstan, the Almaty International Airport reported on Facebook.

“The 67-year-old Kazakh citizen’s health deteriorated drastically just before departure. The passenger exchanged her air ticket to fly the next day. According to preliminary information, the woman suffered from an oncological disease. During the flight, her condition worsened dramatically, on arrival the airport medical service officers stated death,” the report reads.
