Message about bomb at Manas International Airport received from abroad

The message about the bomb in the Manas International Airport, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, was received by E-mail from one of the airlines, the Kyrgyz National Security Committee reported.

One specified that today at 02:41 pm local time, a message was sent to the E-mail address of one of the airlines of Kyrgyzstan about an explosive device allegedly planted in one of the buildings with an activated timer.

The operative-investigative and duty teams of the Kyrgyz National Security Committee and the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrived in the scene. No any explosive devices were detected during the inspection of the airport territory, aircraft and other buildings.

According to preliminary data, the message was sent from abroad. Currently, airports of the Kyrgyz Republic are operating normally.

The special services agencies are taking a series of measures to identify intruders who have declared a deliberately false report on an act of terrorism.
