A forty-seven-year-old man tried to get on a plane, posing as an employee of an airport, the Kazakhstan’s Almaty International Airport reports.

The incident occurred on the night of Thursday, February 7, 2019. The offender was detained by employees of the Aviation Security Service.

“A man born in 1972 with a fake pass tried to go through the checkpoint to get on a flight to Thailand,” the airport said.

The offender checked in for the flight en route Almaty – Utapao (airport of Pattaya, Thailand), but the state border control did not pass, as he was on the list of Kazakhstani people, who were temporarily restricted from leaving the country for some reasons.
