The Russian Helicopters Holding Company handed over the first Mi-171A2 helicopter manufactured by Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant to the customer from Kazakhstan, Dmitry Danilov, Deputy General Director of Russian Helicopters, told AviaPort.

“The Mi-171A2 helicopter was shipped to Kazakhstan the other day, and it arrived yesterday. We are now in the process of delivery and acceptance, and in the near future it will go into service,” he said.

Recall, as Russian Helicopters previously reported, the contract for the supply of a multi-purpose Mi-171A2 helicopter in the interests of the company from Kazakhstan was signed at the end of 2017.
