Boeing, Airbus report on airplanes sold in January 2019

The U. S. aircraft manufacturer Boeing delivered seven more aircraft in January 2019 than Airbus, the Boeing’s main competitor in Europe, Reuters reported on February 12, 2019.

According to a report from The Boeing Company, in January 2019, this company delivered 46 aircraft to customers, two more than in January 2018. Airbus has delivered 39 aircraft to customers – 12 more than a year earlier.

The Boeing Company’s shares rose after a report on an increase in aircraft deliveries in January 2019. The cost of one share of this company has risen to US $ 409.90, by 1.5%, in the U.S. stock market since the publication of the report.

Both companies have similar figures in the number of aircraft produced. In 2018, Boeing delivered 806 aircraft to its customers, whereas Airbus – 800.
