Russia’s RED WINGS to start flying from St. Petersburg to Astana

The Civil Aviation Committee of Kazakhstan announces the entry of the Red Wings, Russia, to the Kazakhstan market.

The airline will operate its flights en route St. Petersburg, Russia – Astana, Kazakhstan – St. Petersburg.

The planned frequency is seven flights per week. Flight start date is not specified.

It should be noted that currently, Air Astana, Kazakhstan, operates its Astana – St. Petersburg direct flights with a frequency of six times a week.

Earlier, Russia Airlines, Russia, operates its flights on the specified air route.

Red Wingsm as an air carrier, was founded in 1999 under the ‘Airlines 400’ name. In 2007, it received its modern name. During the period from June 2009 to 2010, Red Wings was the carrier of the Russian national football team.

Red Wings aircraft are based at Moscow’s Domodedovo International Airport. The air company also has its hubs in Russia’s Simferopol and St. Petersburg. Currently, it flies around Russia, as well as to Turkey, Spain, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Serbia and Montenegro.
