Service center for tourists opens at Uzbekistan’s Tashkent International Airport

Work is underway at the Tashkent International Airport, Uzbekistan, to open a tourist service center. The information desk will be located in the arrivals hall number 2.

The circular design of the information desk is designed for six people. Visitors will be able to get a tourist SIM card from the operator, information about the country’s tourism industry, current destinations and air routes. In addition, the State Committee for Tourism prepared 95,000 flyers telling about recreation areas, hotels and restaurants, as well as about the procedure for staying in Uzbekistan.

According to the State Committee for Tourism, similar service centers for tourists are scheduled to be opened on the territory of cultural heritage sites, railway stations, airports and hotels. In the future, the agency intends to install fixed and mobile info-kiosks, where guests can get a card, information about food service points and hotels, call a taxi, get tickets to museums, souvenirs and SIM cards.
