Two Boeing aircraft collide at Moscow’s Vnukovo International Airport

The aircraft of the Russia and Azur Air airlines collided while towing at Moscow’s Vnukovo International Airport.

According to Trend, Larisa Markovets, the representative of the Moscow Interregional Investigation Department for Transport (MIIDT), Russia, told TASS about what happened.

“Two Boeing airplanes collided at Vnukovo airport. According to preliminary data, they caught on each other with their wings while towing,” Mrs. Markovets said.

According to preliminary data, as a result of the incident no one was hurt. “The Azur Air aircraft damaged its right winglets (the tip of the right wing), whereas the aircraft of the Russia Airlines has a damage of its stabilizer,” the MIIDT representative said.
