Kyrgyzstan proposes to renew Tashkent – Tamchy charter flights – MFA

Kyrgyzstan has proposed to resume charter flights en route Tashkent, Uzbekistan – Tamchy, Kyrgyzstan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

According to this report, on February 18, 2019, the Kyrgyz Ambassador to Uzbekistan Ibrahim Dzhunusov met with the director of the State Inspectorate for Flight Safety, Uzbekistan, Tolib Ulzhaev in Tashkent.

The proposal to resume the flight was made taking into account the cooperation of the two countries through the resort and recreation institutions of Kyrgyzstan with enterprises and organizations of Uzbekistan in organizing the recreation of their employees in boarding houses located on the Issyk-Kul Lake shores.

Also during the meeting, emphasis was placed on increasing the flow of tourists from the neighbouring country.

The parties discussed the current state of bilateral cooperation in the civil aviation sector and outlined further prospects for cooperation between the aviation services of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan in this area.
