Turkmenistan Airlines pilots are taught to work in extreme situations

Aircraft crews began their training at the Turkmenistan Airlines’ Flight Training School under the rescue program, the ‘Turkmenistan: The Golden Age’ newspaper wrote on February 18, 2019.

According to this newspaper, trainings on an emergency simulator pass annually. The flight personnel, under the guidance of instructors, improve their theoretical training, skills of first aid and the use of medicines, as well as fire extinguishers and emergency radio beacons.

The Aviation Personnel Training School is located at the Ashgabat International Airport. Simulators of aviation equipment were installed there, and training machines including four aircraft and two helicopters were purchased for flight training.

The publication reports that “annual retraining contributes to competent and trouble-free operation of aircraft, and to improve passenger service.”

Recall that on February 4, the European Aviation Safety Agency blacklisted Turkmenistan Airlines (“Türkmenhowayollary”) and banned its flights both to EU countries and transit flights over the territory of the European Union.

Experts from Lufthansa Consulting, Germany, arrived in Turkmenistan to solve problems with a license.
