Body scanners to be used at airports in Azerbaijan

Nine Body Scan machines (B-Scan) were delivered to Azerbaijan by order of the State Customs Committee (SCC), an employee of the Main Directorate for the Customs Control and Trade Facilitation Organization under the State Customs Committee, Boyukaga Shafiyev, said on Friday, Trend reported.

According to an employee of the Main Directorate, the devices delivered will soon be installed at all international airports and at all border checkpoints in the south of the country, including the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic.

It should be noted that in 2018, Heydar Aliyev International Airport served a total of 4.43 million passengers. This is nine percent higher than in 2017.
