Which flights to be launched from Kazakhstan in 2019

A number of new flights from Kazakhstan will be launched this year, the Kazinform News Agency reports with reference to the Touristik Kamkor Corporate Fund, Kazakhstan.

“We are in a hurry to inform for those who like to travel that as early as 2019 Kazakhstan launches a number of new air services. That is, for our fellow citizens, one will open up new opportunities and areas for recreation. New flight connections are direct, without transfers. This is Prague, Ulan Bator and Tokyo. The first two destinations will be serviced by SCAT Airlines, Kazakhstan. In May, the SCAT’s fleet will be replenished with two new Boeings. The first flight will be operated to Ulan Bator, Mongolia, on June 2. The sale of air tickets to Mongolia has already been opened,” the Fund said.

By the way, Ulan Bator is considered as one of the most promising destinations, given the large tourist flow, up to 1 million foreign tourists a year, the Fund noted.

The main entertainment of tourists in the coldest capital of the world – Ulan Bator is a visit to the Dance and Folk Song Theater, Opera and Ballet Theater. Excursions to the places of life and activities of the famous Genghis Khan, the village of Dulun-Boldog, where the great founder of Mongolia was born, are widely popular. It is visited annually by up to several thousand foreign tourists.

Local tour operators offer foreign tourists guided tours of national parks located near the capital of Mongolia. Also, SCAT Airlines will resume its flights to Batumi, Krasnodar and Sochi in the summer. Direct flights to these cities will be carried out from Astana. There will be flights to Yerevan and Mineralnye Vody (Mineral Waters). “All these areas are seasonal and cause a special interest of Kazakhstan as an opportunity for family holidays and vacations,” the report says.

In turn, the Azerbaijani airlines have expressed their desire to launch a new flight en route Baku – Almaty – Baku. The first flight will be made already on April 2nd. The Azerbaijani air carrier plans to fly to Almaty twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays on comfortable Airbus A319 airplanes.

In addition, the Russia’s S7 Airlines is launching a new flight en route Novosibirsk – Astana, and the Moscow – Semey flight will also be launched. The issue of launching flights to Shanghai is also being worked out, but this issue is still at the negotiation stage.
