Yekaterinburg’s Koltsovo airport to have daily flights to Georgia’s Batumi

Starting from June 2019, the flight schedule of the Koltsovo International Airport, Russia, will have flights to Batumi, Georgia. From June 4, 2019 flights to the main tourist center of present-day Georgia will be restarted by Ural Airlines, and from June 7, Pobeda Airlines will start operating flights to Batumi, too.

Ural Airlines will fly to a seaside resort three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, whereas Pobeda Airlines – four times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Flights will be operated on Airbus A320 and Boeing 737-800 aircraft, respectively. Travel time is about 3.5 hours.

Batumi is the most important cultural, economic and tourist center of Georgia. It combines sea beaches, antiquities (the first mention of the city dates back to the fourth century BC, as well as modern infrastructure. Every traveler will find something interesting and useful here.

Georgia is one of the most popular tourist destinations for the Koltsovo Airport. As a result of operations in 2018, passenger traffic to Georgia’s Tbilisi and Batumi exceeded 46,000 passengers.
