Diverted Georgian plane forcibly put off in India

On Friday, May 10, 2019 the Indian Air Force fighter forced the Georgian military transport An-12 aircraft to land, as it deviated from course, Trend reports with reference to RIA Novosti.

According to the NDTV channel, the aircraft was flying from Karachi, Pakistan, to New Delhi, India and departed from the original course so it penetrated the airspace of India in an unplanned location – in the state of Gujarat. The reasons for this decision are not called. Following this, Indian fighters were raised into the air, and they “landed” a Georgian plane at Jaipur airport in northern Rajasthan.

According to NDTV, this is not considered as a “serious incident.” Currently, interrogation of pilots is undergoing, sources inform.
