Air carriers that have not submitted data on aircraft passengers to be fined in Azerbaijan

In Azerbaijan, the air carriers that land and/or leave the territory of Azerbaijan will be fined for not sending their data on the passengers and crew of their aircraft to the relevant executive authorities.

According to Trend, in connection with this, changes are made to the Code of Administrative Offenses.

According to these changes, in order to ensure aviation safety, air carriers immediately after booking (selling) an air ticket must submit a list of necessary data about passengers and crew of the aircraft that will land and/or leave Azerbaijan. These data are submitted to the relevant executive authorities in electronic form. The draft law provides for administrative liability for violation of these requirements.

In case of failure to provide data to the relevant executive authorities on passengers and crew members, officials will be fined AZN 1,500 and legal entities for AZN 3,000.
