Embraer has stable supplies

In the Q1 2019, Embraer Executive Jets delivered 11 business jets, which corresponds to the level of deliveries in 2018.

As in the Q1 2018, this Brazilian manufacturer delivered eight light aircraft (Phenom) and three large aircraft (Legacy/Lineage) to its customers during the Jan-Mar 2019 period.

According to Embraer’s forecasts, which delivered 91 business jets last year, the delivery capacities for this year are expected to be in the range of 90 – 110 business jets.

Against the background of stable deliveries of business jets, deliveries of commercial Embraer aircraft decreased by three, down to 11 aircraft. At the same time, the volume of orders portfolio decreased slightly from US $ 16.3 billion at the end of 2018 to US $ 16 billion at the end of March 2019.

The first quarter was marked by the delivery of the 500th Phenom 300. This milestone was reached less than 10 years after the first aircraft entered service, and the Phenom 300 of the few business jets currently in operation reached this level. Also, this aircraft is one of the most supplied business jets over the past decade. It is operated in more than 30 countries and it has over 780,000 flight hours.

Also in this quarter, Embraer announced the launch of deliveries of its first business jets, such as Phenom 300E and Praetor 600, to Brazilian customers. This year, the company plans to expand its supply line, as it recently received ANAC certification in Brazil for the Praetor 600.
