New hall of Tashkent International Airport flooded after heavy rain

A new arrival terminal building for passengers of international airlines at the Tashkent International Airport, Uzbekistan, was flooded. AviaSpotter published a video in the Telegram channel taken in the new arrival hall of the Tashkent International Airport.

The video also shows how the airport employees are trying to dry the territory with rags, reports.

The new terminal building was put into operation on June 15, 2018. On the same day, at noon, it took the first passengers, as they arrived by Uzbekistan Airways flight from Seoul to Tashkent.

“The new terminal meets all international standards, it is equipped with the most modern engineering and technological equipment, which allows you to maximize customer needs, providing services at a high level, and significantly reduce the time required for formal procedures to enter the country,” the air company said then.
