Airbus to present its latest developments at 2019 Paris Air Show

Airbus will showcase the most promising products and solutions for the aviation, helicopter and space industries at the Le Bourget International Aviation and Space Show 2019, which will be held in France on June 17 – 23, 2019. Le Bourget Air Show will also be the main venue for celebrating the 50th anniversary, which Airbus celebrates this year.

Airbus will demonstrate modern and efficient commercial aircraft in the flight program and on the static exposition. A350-1000, A330neo, and Hi-Fly A380, which will arrive at the Air Show at the end of the week, will perform with the flight program. AirBaltic A220-300 and A330neo test aircraft will be presented at the static exposition. On June 18, the first A321neo, La Compagnie Airlines, France, will arrive at Le Bourget. This aircraft, in a fully business-class layout for 76 passengers, is already successfully operating trans-Atlantic flights. In addition, Airbus will also show a single, fully autonomous Vahana vertical take-off and landing aircraft.

Airbus Helicopters will show the multifunctional and modern twin-engine mid-range H175 helicopter, which is an ideal choice for a wide range of tasks: from private aviation and gas pipeline maintenance to search and rescue and medical evacuation.

The Airbus Defense and Space Division will present a multi-purpose A330 MRTT tanker, as well as A400M military transport aircraft in the French Air Force livery at the static exposition.

Airbus will showcase projects in four key areas on interactive displays in its pavilion. For example, in the Future of Flight ’area, Airbus will show how it is improving its products and changing the future of flights. As regards the Secure World area, booth visitors will be able to get acquainted with the company’s developments in defense and security. In the ‘From Data to Insight’ area, the company will present its digitalization projects, including Skywise. The “Space” area will be devoted to the space research programs of such companies, as Pleiades Neo, ArrOW, Eurostar Neo, Moon Cruiser, and BepiColombo.

For journalists, there will be a press area in the Airbus pavilion (C4), where the company plans to hold major events and ceremonies. Announcements about press events will also be published on a separate exhibition page on the Airbus website. The planes will be open to the media accredited at Le Bourget daily from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.
