The British chairs Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan

The Director General of the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan has been appointed. According to the Civil Aviation Committee, Peter Griffiths has taken this position, reported.

Peter Griffiths previously headed the Civil Aviation Department of the UK Department of Transportation and oversaw the work of the United Kingdom Civil Aviation Agency (UKCAA).

He was Director of Aviation Safety and Security at EasyJet Luton. He was the project manager for the launch of the new Nas Air (Flynas) low-cost airline in Saudi Arabia. He flew as a commander in Airbus 320 and Boeing 737 aircraft.

Over the years, he has held senior positions in the European Commission. He was vice president of the European Region of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and led various commercial civil aviation organizations.

The Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan JSC should implement measures to ensure technical aviation control and supervision in the flight safety sector.
