Ex-head of Tajik Air Rustam Kholikov removed from Dushanbe – Istanbul flight

On the morning of August 4, Rustam Kholikov, the former director general of Tajik Air, was removed from the Dushanbe, Tajikistan – Istanbul, Turkey, flight. Representatives of the State Committee for National Security of Tajikistan arrived at the airport and took Mr. Kholikov with them for interrogation, according to the Akhbor website.

AZAL employees find hiding place with iPhone smartphones in airplane

During a pre-flight check at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, Baku, Azerbaijan, the crew of the aircraft owned by Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL) found a cache in the airplane’s toilet, in which about 20 iPhone smartphones were hidden, Pasha Kesamanski, Public Relations Assistant to the President, AZAL, told Trend on Tuesday.
