Uzbekistan’s international airport establishes point to assist tourists

A police checkpoint is opened at the adjacent territory to the Tashkent international airport named after Islam Karimov.

The point is opened to provide timely assistance to citizens, including tourists arriving in the capital of Uzbekistan, and prompt response to their messages, the press service of the Tashkent’s Internal Affairs Directorate said.

In addition, the monitors installed in the compact room of the station, display images from video surveillance cameras, located around the perimeter of the territory adjacent to the airport.

“Thanks to this, police officers monitor the situation in real time and immediately arrive at the scene of the incident in the event of a breach of public order,” said Internal Affairs Directorate.
