Russia’s Tatarstan to supply agricultural aircraft, Ansat helicopters in medical design to Turkmenistan

Tatarstan, Russia, has begun its work to supply MV-500 light-weight agricultural aircraft, according to the Press Service of the President of Tatarstan.

Rustam Minnikhanov, President of Tatarstan, took part in the first Caspian Economic Forum on Monday, as part of the Russian delegation. He presented the stand and exposition of the enterprises of Tatarstan at the international exhibition named ‘Turkmen Sahrasy-2019’, and also held talks with the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

The Turkmen side announced its intention to continue this cooperation, as well as its readiness to purchase aircraft for agricultural work and other products in Tatarstan.

It is noted that a MVEN Company, Tatarstan, has already begun its work to supply MV-500 aircraft and localize their production in Turkmenistan.

“In addition, work is underway to supply Kazan Ansat helicopters in a medical version. Almost all of these plans were enshrined in relevant memoranda and agreements during the first Caspian Economic Forum,” the Press Service said.
