Hurricane “traps” 13 thousand passengers at Tokyo Airport

Over 13 thousand passengers were forced to spend the night on the territory of Tokyo’s Narita International Airport, the NHK television channel reported on September 10.

It is reported that passengers arriving at the terminals were unable to leave the airport due to traffic collapse caused by the aftermath of Faxai Hurricane.

The airport administration organized distribution of food and essentials for trapped people.
