MACE 2019 – reverse counting

On October 30 – November 1, 2019 Valletta (Grand Hotel Excelsior) will held the largest business aviation conference known as MACE 2019 (Malta Aviation Conference and Expo), organized with the support of Malta Business Aviation Association (MBAA) and the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA), as well as the Ministry of Transport Malta.

The format of the event is B2B and B2C. Key companies have already confirmed their participation, include Lufthansa Technik, SR Technik, Aviation Cosmetics, Knighthood Capital, SixWest, VistaJet, Comlux, and AirX, DC Aviation. Within the framework of MASE, participants are offered great opportunities not only for speakers to speak, but also for creating their own stands.

“We are confident that MACE will become an exceptional aviation event, which must be attended by all industry experts interested in in-depth expertise of the aviation industry and its prospects. MACE is also a B2B and B2C networking event attended by reputable speakers: representatives of operators, aviation industry experts, legal and regulatory consultants, as well as global users,” said Captain Charles Pache, Director General, Civil Aviation Authority of Malta.

In the fourth quarter of 2019, the Government of Malta will officially launch the amendments to the legislation on leasing and financing of aircraft, as well as the Aircraft Register, which will make this EU and Eurozone jurisdiction more secure and efficient. As commented in the organizing committee of MACE, currently more than three hundred and fifty aircraft of thirty-five operators are registered on the island. Over the past two years, the number of MRO service providers that prefer Malta as a second base has increased. And these trends will continue in the future.

“With the fast-growing aviation sector, which is gaining momentum, as we say, Malta is already on the way to establishing itself as the center of aviation in Europe. MACE is a great opportunity to foster healthy dialogue, collaboration and the sharing of best practices in such an important sector. Most importantly, MACE will provide the right platform for discussing where we want to go. We have already achieved great results, but my ambitions as a minister in charge of the aviation sector are much higher, and we will work together with this industry to achieve this,” said Transport Minister of Malta Jan Borg.

The preliminary MACE-2019 program is already available. Currently, the MACE Organizing Committee is actively forming a program of plenary meetings, round tables and seminars.
