Passenger traffic at Georgian airports decreased by 11 percent in August 2019

In August 2019, all five Georgian airports served 583,104 passengers, which is by 11% less than during the same period last year.

According to data for the eight months (Jan-Aug 2019), Georgia’s airports served a total of 3,640,823 passengers, which is eight percent more than last year.

According to the Georgian Airports Association, when considering all international airports in the country, the airport in Kutaisi is the only one, which ended the August period with an increase in passenger traffic, as its statistics were least affected by the suspension of direct flights from Russia.
