Somon Air plane arrives from Tajikistan in Russia’s Surgut with a delay exceeding eight hours

A plane belonged to Somon Air, Tajikistan, that was delayed in Khujand, Tajikistan, for more than eight hours, arrived in Surgut, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, Russia, the Surgut airport informed TASS.

“The plane from Khujand arrived in Surgut at 08:54 pm local time yesterday,” the source said.

Initially, the arrival of this aircraft was scheduled at 00:30 pm local time.

Somon Air explained to TASS that the flight was delayed due to lack of oxygen for the aircraft cabin. According to information on the Surgut Airport’s website, the flight was operated on a Boeing 737-800.
