Manas International Airport OJSC, FlyArystan Airlines discuss bilateral cooperation

On October 2, 2019, a business meeting was held at the Manas International Airport, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, between the Chairperson of the Board of Manas International Airport Murat Primberdiev and Paolo Riciotti, Vice President for Strategic Development and Infrastructure, FlyArystan, Kazakhstan.

The parties discussed the possibility of bilateral cooperation and the development of new air routes through the Manas and Osh international airports in Kyrgyzstan.

Mr. Primberdiev noted the importance to develop mutually beneficial conditions for this promising partnership. Mr. Riciotti, in turn, added that the air company is ready to work out all issues for further cooperation with Manas International Airport OJSC to expand the air route network.

Also, a tour was organized for the guest, where he was introduced to the infrastructure of the airport, air-cargo center and on-board catering center.

FlyArystan Airlines is the first low-cost airline in Kazakhstan and so called umbrella brand for Air Astana, formed this year. It operates according to the classical low-cost model. Air ticket sales started on March 29, 2019. The airline fleet consists of four Airbus A320 aircraft.

FlyArystan operates its flights to Kazakhstan’s Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Taraz, Uralsk, Pavlodar, Shymkent and Karaganda. There are plans to launch international flights to Ukraine, Georgia, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
