Lufthansa declares Baku to be “The City of the Month”

The leading German and Europe’s second airline, Lufthansa, has declared Baku, Azerbaijan, as “The City of the Month,” Trend reports citing the State Tourism Agency on Monday.

The airline, on its page, calling Azerbaijan the “Land of Lights”, compares night Baku with the ever-moving glowing city.

Talking about Baku as the largest city in the South Caucasus, the airline calls it a precious pearl of the Caspian Sea. Emphasizing the beauty of the night-time National Seaside Park, Lufthansa calls Baku Boulevard a place that brings people together and makes them feel loved.

The airline also talks about Icherisheher, likening it to a maze.

According to Lufthansa, modern and historical architectural monuments give Baku special beauty and create a synthesis of East and West. The airline also called the Heydar Aliyev Center a symbol of modernization and modernity of Azerbaijani society.

On her page, Lufthansa, calling Baku a famous metropolis located between Europe and Asia, invited everyone to visit Azerbaijan.

Note that Lufthansa traditionally chooses “The City of the Month”, which creates great opportunities for promoting the tourism potential of these cities.
