FlyArystan Airlines sold half a million air tickets

In less than six months (May – Sept 2019), the first Kazakhstani low-cost airline named FlyArystan sold half a million passenger seats, about 60% of which were sold at minimum rates of less than KZT 10,000 (USD 1 = KZT 389). It should be noted that the timeliness of all FlyArystan flights exceeded 93%, while the aircraft load factor came to 94%.

Zhanar Zhailauova, Marketing and Sales Director, FlyArystan, said, “In less than six months we have launched 10 destinations from the cities of Almaty and Nur-Sultan, and in 2020 we plan to launch flights from regional airports to Karaganda and Aktobe. Having expanded our fleet to 10 aircraft by the end of next year, we plan to carry out up to 70 flights a day. We are glad that our services are in demand among Kazakhstan residents and we are ready to offer them even more destinations at the most affordable prices.”

We remind you that last week the low-cost airline’s fleet was replenished with another Airbus A320 airliner and immediately FlyArystan began flying from Taraz, Shymkent, Pavlodar and Semey to Nur-Sultan (roundtrip air service). Also, by the end of the year, the air company’s fleet will replenish with another 180-passenger seat A320 aircraft.

The low-cost airline named FlyArystan is a division of Air Astana, based in Almaty and awarded the rating of a four-star airline for quality of service, as well as “The Best Airline of Central Asia and India” award according to the Skytrax World Airline Awards.

The FlyArystan fleet consists of three Airbus A320s in a configuration of 180 passenger seats, with an average age of six years of operation.

By 2022, there are plans to increase the airline’s fleet to 15 aircraft, which will be based in different cities of Kazakhstan.
