Tajik citizen removed from Moscow – Kulyab flight for drunk brawl

A citizen of Tajikistan – the passenger of the Moscow, Russia – Kulyab, Tajikistan, flight was removed from the flight for drunken brawls. The incident occurred on October 31, 2019.

According to the Moscow City News Agency, the passenger of the Domodedovo – Kulyab flight was removed from the plane and held accountable for petty hooliganism.

“The duty department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia at the Domodedovo International Airport received a message about the need for a transport police to arrive on board an aircraft preparing to fly to Kulyab on October 31,” the Transport Department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Central Federal District said.

“The aircraft commander decided to refuse a flight on this flight, as one of the passengers who had obvious signs of intoxication and behaved inappropriately: he expressed obscene language, waved his hands, came into conflict with fellow travelers, and did not respond to the comments of flight attendants. The traffic police officers, the steward who managed to twist and hold him in the aisle; later, he was removed from the plane and delivered to the duty unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia at the Domodedovo International Airport,” the statement reads.

It is specified that a citizen of Tajikistan born in 1978 turned out to be an offender. The flight to Kulyab took off with a delay.

The press service added that in respect of the man a protocol was drawn up on an administrative offense under Part 1 of Art. 20.1 Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (“petty hooliganism”).

The Domodedovo City Court of the Moscow Region appointed the passenger an administrative arrest for five days.
