Airplane operating Moscow – Baku flight makes emergency landing

The plane flying en route Moscow, Russia – Baku, Azerbaijan and owned by Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) made an emergency landing at the alternate airport at Moscow’s Vnukovo International Airport, Trend reported citing Russian media.

It is noted that the liner’s crew after takeoff reported a crack on the windshield and the aircraft commander decided to land it. The aircraft landed safely, no one was injured.

AZAL confirmed this information for Trend and noted the reserved aircraft was sent for the passengers, which arrived in Baku in the morning.
